Hi, I'm Whistler Li. Brisbane wedding photographer and videographer.
Weddings are fleeting, but the memories last a lifetime, a feeling that sharpened after becoming a dad in 2023. Outside of work, you'll find me camping, hunting down good coffee, or with my family, where that feeling shows up daily.
It took root years earlier, when I moved to Australia to study at QCA and UQ. My Uni lecturer sponsored me to stay. Australia is a place I'm proud to call home.

There's a sweet spot I always aim for when photographing a wedding, somewhere between direction and freedom. Not overly posed, but never totally hands off either.
It's a style I've come to love: one that takes candid, real-in-the-moment storytelling and quietly elevates it. Thoughtful, but never stiff. A genuine laugh caught mid motion. A quiet glance between you two that no one told you to have. A detail shot that still feels effortless, not staged.
